InvaderGamer is a gaming blog run by InvaderDem. The site focuses mainly on PlayStation 3 games as well as general news in the gaming industry. Instead of reporting breaking news of what’s happening in the gaming world, InvaderGamer looks at it in a more analytical viewpoint, such as why the Wii is still expecting production shortages this late into its lifetime or why the PSN hosting fees aren’t that bad in the grand scheme of it all.
Reviews are generally in in three stages – a demo review if there is one, first impressions and an official review. The first impressions give off the first day or two experiences with the game – what is good and what isn’t good. These are ideal for people looking to rent the game and an idea of what to expect. The official reviews are done after I have cleared a game and give a more indepth review of the game – rating graphics, sound, gameplay, story, replayability and more. We try not to compare to other games but rather look at what the game does well and what the game doesn’t well.
InvaderGamer is a personally run blog by someone who works 40 hours a week, is married and has a kid. That’s why there is no set schedule for publishing new posts. I try to write a little for about an hour a night and will post when possible, but I do aim for at least two posts a week.
I welcome comments on my posts, positive or negative so feel free to contact me about my blog or even look me up on the PSN if you wanted to do some online gaming. Any game that has an official review is most likely a game that I own unless I was able to clear it over a weekend.
